• Internships for Taiwanese Students Offered by Companies in Taiwan

Vision Youth Action: a cultural and educational organization which develops leadership training programs to create a new generation of young leaders with a global view.It organizes internships programs that send Taiwanese students to NGO institutes overseas.

Kingcar Education Foundation: a non-profit cultural and educational organization in Taiwan.It has created a program to organize Taiwan college students to attend the mock UN Summit for Undergraduate Students, so as to interact with the young leaders from the other countries around the world.

  • Internships for Taiwanese Offered by US Organizations & Institutions:

International Internship Programs: a non-profit institute. Its mission is to provide career opportunities for foreign professionals through cultural exchange and professional training.

Vision Youth Action: a cultural and educational organization. It develops leadership training programs to create a new generation of young leaders with a global view. It organizes internships programs that send Taiwanese students to NGO institutes overseas.

The Exchange Visitor Program: One division of the program provide foreign national a chance to work in an American company as a trainee for up to 18 months. Appropriate training will be provided by the host companies. Another division of the program offers an opportunity for the people from other countries of the world to teach or learn at a American education institute.

The Freeman ASSIST Program, sponsored by the Freeman Foundation, offers educational allowances to outstanding undergraduate students from East and Southeast Asia who are pursuing summer internships in the U.S. nonprofit sector.Applicants must be undergraduate students who are enrolled in a U.S. university or college.

Career Development Center at campus: in most universities, there is a career development center. The main purpose of the center is to help students with job placement. Through this center, international students can extend their residence in the States for one more year to pursue “practical training” in a field related to their studies.
