• Cultural Composition in the USA

According to the U.S. Census Bureau's 2000 census, the population of the United States is 281,421,906.The latest population estimate following the once every ten year Census, is 295,550,600.The United States is the world's third most populous country following China and India respectively.By 2005, the United States is projected to stay in the top ten of this list. While the American population is predicted to increase over the next decades, in contrast, the populations of European nations are predicted to decrease as people have fewer children.Within the borders of the United States, you will find a unique blend of nationalities. In meeting the challenges of mixing these nationalities, America has matured through its mistakes to emerge as a strong, unified nation. This is a country that is willing to adapt to find a way for all its citizens to succeed.

The influx of new immigrants over the years has resulted in a noticeable change in the American landscape. The variety of markets, specialty stores and restaurants catering to every conceivable ethnic group is staggering. For those comfortable with only the familiar, this can be unsettling.Yet, after time, one can and does develop a comfort and appreciation for the unique experience in which they find themselves. What better way to prepare for the global future?Experiencing life in America will expose you to the world in which your future lies.Few other places offer similar multi national experiences under one sky.

The Changing Face of America
Immigration was at its highest in the beginning and the end of the 21st centuries. In the future, it is predicted that America will not just look like a representation of its first immigrants, the white descendants of Europeans. The influx of Latinos and Asians especially in the last decades is creating a new face to America. It is predicted that the Asian and Latino population in America will triple in the next fifty years while the white percentage of the population will decrease to fifty percent of the population from its approximately seventy five percent of the population now.In future years with continued immigration and increasing racial intermarriage, as these new ethnic minorities increase in size , the economic culture will reflect their influence.
